How to use the platform
Step-by-step guidance for submissions, Collectors Toolbox tools and The Shelf Marketplace. This guide is aligned to current Collectors League services, including grading, Ling’rPrint verification, authentication-only services for non-card items, registry-linked records and return shipping workflows.
Submitting for grading and related services
You can submit using either LeagueAi® for guided entry or Quick Submit for fast quantity-based card submissions. Service availability depends on the item type and service selected.
LeagueAi® guided submission
- Open LeagueAi®.
- Select the relevant category such as Collector Card, Sealed Product or Memorabilia.
- Choose the appropriate service, such as grading, pre-assessment or another available guided option.
- Upload the required images. For cards, this generally means front and back.
- Confirm the detected item details.
- Complete your contact and submission details if prompted.
- Review your service selection and submit the request.
Quick Submit card workflow
- Open Quick Submit.
- Select the number of cards you are submitting.
- Choose the grading service and any available upgrade options.
- Select the appropriate return shipping option.
- Add any notes or supporting details if required.
- Submit the order and complete checkout where prompted.

The platform guide is aligned with the live Collectors League service structure.
Grading & encapsulation
- Built for eligible card submissions.
- Includes authentication review during the grading workflow.
- Includes NFC chipped slab label, Ling’rPrint DNA ID, registration and a full detailed report for eligible graded submissions.
Ling’rPrint verification
- Available as a separate identity-backed verification service.
- Supports matching and deeper identity continuity where applicable.
- Return shipping applies in addition to the service fee where required.
Authentication only
- Applies to non-card items only.
- Used for memorabilia and other eligible collectibles requiring authentication without card grading.
- Certificate and registry options may apply where relevant.
Collectors Toolbox tools and features
Access these tools through the Collectors Toolbox section of the platform navigation.
My Collection
- View submissions and graded items.
- Open certificates and detailed reports.
- Manage collection entries and registry-linked records.
- List eligible graded items on The Shelf marketplace.
Only eligible graded items with completed system records can be listed through marketplace workflows.
Portfolio
The Portfolio provides a structured overview of your entire collection and helps collectors track value, activity and growth over time.
- View the total estimated value of your collection.
- Track individual item values and market movement.
- Monitor grading outcomes and registry-linked items.
- Understand collection performance and long‑term trends.
Authentication Check
- Upload the front image. Back image is recommended where supported.
- Run the authenticity check.
- Review the resulting warnings, indicators or guidance.
Grade Predictor
- Upload front and back imagery where prompted.
- Run the prediction workflow.
- Review the estimated result and image quality feedback.
Market Trends
Market Trends provides collectors with insights for both buying and selling decisions.
Thinking of buying
- Search using a detailed item description.
- View current marketplace listings where available.
- Review active market prices and available purchase opportunities.
- Open listings directly to inspect or buy items.
Thinking of selling
- Search for the item you are considering selling.
- Review price guidance and recent market signals.
- See insights on whether the market suggests holding or selling.
- Use suggested pricing strategies when listing on The Shelf or other marketplaces.
Price Alerts
- Enter the item details.
- Set the target price.
- Create and manage alerts from your account.
Buying and selling on The Shelf
The Shelf is designed around verified items, collection-linked visibility and stronger transaction confidence.
Buying on The Shelf
- Browse available listings.
- Open the item certificate or linked record to verify details where available.
- Place a purchase offer or submit a barter offer.
- Complete checkout once the seller accepts the offer.
The Shelf supports traditional purchases as well as barter offers between collectors.
Selling on The Shelf
- Go to My Collection.
- Select an eligible graded item.
- Choose the Shelf listing option.
- Enter the asking price and confirm the listing.
- Review purchase offers or barter proposals from buyers.
Marketplace notes
- The Shelf supports direct purchases as well as barter offers.
- Buyers can offer trades using their own Shelf listings plus or minus cash adjustments.
- Registry transfer is included for members as part of member benefits.
- Non-member transfers may incur an administration fee.
- Eligible seller payouts and transfer handling follow the platform wallet workflow.
